AS A MEMENTO

Participatory, still imaginary project

For the project ‘As a memento’ the artist intends to gather a small group of craftswomen, who will be lectured on contemporary art with the focus on the least decorative and narrative practices (for example, the Moscow actionism of the 1990s). Each participant will make her own album or other object as a memento about an artist that stuck in her memory in order to express her attitude toward this kind of art.    

The experiment would combine authentic and genuine amateur artistry that lives beyond the art process with theoretical approaches and contemporary art practices.
