Ilmira Bolotyan is an interdisciplinary artist and curator with a PhD in philology. She works in the fields of participatory and feminist arts, video, performance, painting, and graphic arts. In her participatory projects, Ilmira creates various social situations: from inviting the audience to determine the nationality of an unknown woman to asking men out on dates in a museum.
